Yep....I was out shopping for outdoor Christmas lights on Dec. 26. Snagged one of those lights that displays trippy dots all over everything with lasers for only $10. Only purpose: festival fun.

Saw a pic when I was trying to find this one where some clown had used one of these and one of those cardboard tips the kids all use now. Seemed pretty redundant.

University Customs did a great job. I got the lights at either Wal-Mart or Target - can't remember where. Will post the name and brand once I get home. They were under $10 and have more than 20 feet of lights. Will have to set up at home in the dark to see how they work.

Depends on the lights. If they require 110-120 (what ever it takes) you may be able to power from 12v battery using an inverter.

I highly recommend everyone getting lots and lots of solar lights. Should get nothing but solar lights and lots of them. Nothing will bring overcast skys better than a shit ton of solar lights, and sunscreen. Gallons of sunscreen, bring it.

So far, our solar lights have recharged fine even on cloudy days. Maybe I should have some battery powered ones in reserve this year.
