The Virginia "volcanoes" do not have an "in" into which one could throw a virgin, or even a wench for that matter. She'd simply roll down the hill, giggling. I know the one described in the article, Trimble Knob, and it is in Buddy's home 20. There are many others like it in Highland County, and I actually took a virgin for a picnic on top of one, back in the day. But having no caldera into which to toss her, I returned her to civilization, and just dealt with the weather thereafter.

I can see Mole Hill from my bedroom in the houses mom still lives in.

Bought my bike from Mole Hill bikes in Dayton.  Never actually been to Mole Hill, but know where it is.

We could lock it but I say let it wander for a while. My son is coming to Lockn for the first time this year and I am thrilled about it. He is pumped and hopefully will join us here soon. Maybe he can get something out of this thread, or the first post anyway. Hope that he gets to meet you guys.

All who wander are not lost. A simple google search will result in several concise festival checklists. It would be impossible to keep a year round board on topic for a 3-day event. To me, the central purpose of this board is to maintain a community of like-minded people through out the year so that Lockn is enhanced when it happens. A secondary benefit is the public service of providing info to newbs. An FAQ could be managed by just one person and would not attract much discussion.
