I have started bringing a kitchen-size fire extinguisher with me when GA tent camping after watching a drunken gentleman try to cook bacon on a unstable camp stove that was too close to my tent. It didn't help that he was only wearing boxers and was gyrating wildly from the grease splatters.

Good thinking. I always have an extinguisher in my car anyway (as is required in some European countries) and bring an extra for things like lockn. And I set it out where anyone can grab it; buried it does no good.
