You left Vinnie in charge of the Goose M&G and he couldn’t make it. There is no one here to herd us cats.
Bob and I will set up our chairs on the far side of the hill. You can find us there or down front dancing.

Good turnout for Fred. Down front was packed last night and the lawn area filled in as well. I would say there are 3x as many people here compared to last week. Excited for Day 3. Rockn to Lockn winner, Audacity Brass Band, starts us off at noon.

thanks for the info on the Goose weekend. A couple of questions, regarding set up compared to JRAD:
Was the VIP area including the tent only open during show times?
How many vendors were selling food in the showfield (3 at JRAD)?
Could you access the vendors from the playground when the showfield was closed?

For those arriving in the morning, what time did you get in line and how long a wait did you have?
Once inside, was the car camping area strictly monitored as to directing you to a particular parking spot?
Was ice easily available throughout the weekend?

There were 4 food vendors on the show field this weekend … burgers, pizza, tacos and “sushi” wraps. You could access all four after gates open. Fred had afternoon sets so they opened the gates earlier than JRAD (2/2:30). Bob noticed that the pizza place and burger joint were serving from the playground side in the early afternoon.
As far as I could tell you can only access the VIP tent when the show field is open. The VIP viewing area down front was packed at night all weekend.
The adventure game/vending area got more use this weekend. We saw 2 early sets on the “porch” in that area and Goose had a game competition going on in the early afternoon. The games Lockn set up were used more than last weekend. If it wasn’t so hot during the day I’’m sure this area would have gotten a lot more use.

We arrived around 9:45 on Friday the last 2 weekends. We only waited a few minutes each time. The first weekend we could pick our car camping spot. This last weekend was a bit more organized and we were directed to a spot. We ended up camping in the same area. There is a nice walkway/buffer zone between each designated car camping spot. Unfortunately, due to the rain, the white lines are getting harder to see.
The Lockn’ General Store had ice all weekend. Some people left and bought ice off site ($5 per bag vs $10 per bag). You can come and go with your car until 8 pm. We will take advantage of that next weekend when we go down to Be Kind for the day.

Did anyone go to this goose weekend on their JRAD tickets?
How did that go?
Were they checking id vs the name on the ticket?
Any unexpected hassles?
