i may be more of a festival expert than the average person on the street, but i am not by any means a real expert. i didnt start going to fests until 2012. i dont think of myself as an expert, just an enthusiast

arlenentim, ADA is going to be really simple to find. You walk out of the venue thru the GA gate and it is leiterally the very first thing on the right just outside the checkpoint.

i'm tempted to say that the relix stage area would be a good spot. very central to everyone.

I like the idea of a Fri afternoon inside the venue meetup as an emergency backup plan as well. Like between Drive By Truckers and SCI behind the soundboard. Or in the front of the beer tent during DBT.

I like the idea of a Fri afternoon inside the venue meetup as an emergency backup plan as well. Like between Drive By Truckers and SCI behind the soundboard. Or in the front of the beer tent during DBT.
At the beer tent during Drive by Truckers sounds like a damn good idea to me!!

Sorry to rain on the parade fellers, but I'm not a fan of this plan. First, I like DBT, and I doubt that I'm the only one. Second, we can do the meet, but I think the greet may be a little difficult with the distraction of an act on the stage. I'd prefer we do this somewhere and some time that there's nothing else going on (and yes, I realize what a narrow window that is). Of course, you may feel free to out-vote me; it wouldn't be the first time.

ADA is still central & meeting near someone's campsite is best, just not as convenient as before. But then nobody has a mile or more hike to the stage area now.

Sorry, I missed the part where it was an emergency back-up. I can be down with that. I'm also down with sneake's idea about the Relix stage. From a logistics standpoint this is not rocket science folks! Surely we can pull this off.
Since we are all going to be going in to the venue at the same place, and since the Shakedown and Relix stage is centralized and also appears to be on everyones route, why dont we meet At the Relix stage area, 1 hour before the music on Friday?

At the infamous Horning's Hideout venue in Oregon, we use the term "The Cocktail Tree". Because you have to hike uphill to get to the venue gate, everyone saves a bit of cocktail for the top, then dumps the ice on the tree before going in. Unfortunately the tree was gone this year!
