Is anyone NOT going due to Furthur/Ratdog cancelling?

If the Allmans, Phil, Steve Winwood, and Keller all cancel, then the members of Bustle get avian flu and can't perform, I might consider not going.

Nope.
I think it was a wise move on management's part to offer a refund, though:
a) few people will take them up on it
b) it's a message of apology
c) It's a fair thing to offer for the day-pass folks who were coming that day for that show.

As much as I love Furthur and Ratdog. Bob's band was not the main reason for deciding to go. There's too much other talent and good times to be had.

If I see nothing but Derek and Susan acoustic it will be worth the ticket price for me. I'm going!!!

I've been a HUGE Susan Tedeschi fan since her second album back in the late 1990's. Acoustic Susan is like heaven to me.

I decided to drop out

With the loss of Bobby,
the BS about entry at dawn,
and hassles about alcohol,
personal searches and assorted restrictions, ...
this is NOT what I signed up for.

Also, with health issues in the ABB camp
there is NO guarantee I'll get to enjoy them.

Ya know, the promoters and local officials
have made this more stressful than necessary.
Opening the lot at *dawn* rather than Wednesday
combined with last year's *field of broken dreams*,
the vehicle searches, and other restrictions have
made this feel more of a hassle than something to look
forward to enjoying.

Returning my tix today.
Hope those who do attend have a safe and enjoyable time!

A lot of people from the Furthur Forum went for the refund. I didn't even contemplate dropping out. I have never seen Ratdog so I was kinda looking forward to finally getting the chance but there are so many other AWESOME bands that I have never seen before performing this year, I am still very excited to attend 

I've passed many chances to see Ratbob in small venues even so that doesn't matter to me.
Furthur is still on as far as anyone knows; one player is not the team. Only idle speculation says otherwise.
I think the "hassle" feel may come from an excessive amount of obsessing by 2 dozen old people on a forum; all fests have rules.
And last year's entry problem was a function of the first show and I feel confident will be addressed.

So unless Bob personally was 80% of your reason to go--and that's fine if it was--I don't see that much has changed.

That being said if they yank the whole band just b/c Gregg falls out, I will be pissed. I'm paying to see the rest of them just as
much as Gregg.

agreed. like, just LOOK at that fucking lineup. of all the bands, RATDOG IS A DEAL BREAKER?! imo, if this is all it takes someone to abandon ship, good riddance
