While I was waiting at the entrance to the pit area to take pictures of The Allman Bros, I saw a bunch of paramedics with a backboard, and they disappeared into the SVIP area just behind the rail of the "Ridge" stage.
Soon afterwards they returned, and they had this guy strapped to the backboard and were carrying him out. The guy was totally and completely wasted.
Then not long after that, there was another guy that was being helped out with a paramedic under each shoulder and he was def fucked-up!
There was a girl too that was in bad shape and had to be carried out by the paramedics.
In the 15 odd minutes or so that I waited by the gate to be let into the pits, I saw at least a half dozen completely wasted and spaced out people being helped out of the SVIP viewing area in front of the Ridge stage.
They were awake, but none of them were able to walk without help.
The one girl that I noticed had "far away eyes".
Meanwhile, at work just the other day, I was talking to a guy in another dept, and it turns out that he worked that weekend at Lockn as Security.
He said that he "couldn't believe how much acid and hallucinogens were there that weekend" (hmm)
...He said he saw so many people passing bottles of water that were tainted with acid, and that people were spraying and misting each other with acid that was in the mister's!
To hear him talk, he made it sound as if it was an all weekend long acid bath orgy!
I told him I hadn't noticed ..but that I did smell some skunk, occasionally.
...but I mostly hung out at the beer tent, so I have no idea.
