Weir's camp also tells me that Holographic Neal needs to sign on so that he can drive the bus from Watkins Glen to Lockn to Alpine and then to Red Rocks but he won't put down that damn hammer long enough to sign...

I think they should get Holographic Keith to play the keys and let Holographic Pigpen focus on the harp and singing.

Interesting developments have occurred in the reunion negotiations overnight. As you know these negotiations take place around the clock with no breaks until they are finalized. The teams have been at it for six days now with no signs of a deal. Representatives of Hologram Keith say that he is on board as long as Donna does not sing when they play Playin' In the Band, he's tired of that crap too. Actually now it is looking like the band will be called Bob Weir and The Hologram Band. Mickey is on board but he will be paid the same as the holograms so he is not part of the band name. Billy and Phil are holding out for exclusive rights to all lot veggie burritos proceeds. So at this point it looks like the band will be Bob Weir, Micky Hart, Hologram Pigpen, Hologram Keith, Hologram Jerry, Hologram Keith Moon and Hologram John Entwhistle. They will play 4 shows a day for 14 days straight at Lockn.
Bob, Phil, Billy and Mickey have already accepted a deal for $400 trillion for the 75th anniversary celebration so we have that to look forward to.

Sorry it has been so long since my last update but negotations have been going on around the clock and frankly we are all exhausted. Contrary to what you may have heard Phil was first to sign and Bob has the rights to final contract approval, as it should be. Billy is still holding out so it looks like Jill Lesh will take his place on drums. Official announcement is imminent so buckle up kids.

I saw an inter office memo that I found while going through their garbage, that was almost illegible due to various stains mostly mustard mixed with chili sauce , but then I noticed a purple stain that most likely is Napa Valley Wine. This combination on a single memo leads me to believe it was indeed the hologram signature of Jerry Garcia. Really all this means is that it was in the hands of Hologram Jerry, who was at the time eating a Chili dog ( which he was famous for loving) and sipping Wine from northern California..So there is that. Unofficially I am going to do some more dumpster diving in order to get to the bottom of this whole thing...

Yep that is how Hologram Jerry signs all of his contracts, some Napa Valley wine with a mix of mustard and chili sauce so that is great news.

Are the chili dogs and wine holograms too? That would be so unfulfilling and wouldn't leave a real stain. I wouldn't put it past hologram Jerry though

Today on the siriusXM radio show Tales From The Golden Road hosted by David Gans and Gary Lambert, Gans called the author of these rumors (not going to mention his name and give him more publicity) a "dipshit" LOL. Guess there goes his credibility. I trust these guys as having credible sources. They confirmed that there is no signed contract, yet.

I think it may be on:
BREAKING NEWS:They got it done! For the love of Jerry and money they got it done. The core four have signed a contract to honor their 50th anniversary.
The magic will commence with two headlining slots, at the soon to be historic Lockn' festival next summer. If the early information is correct, the band will rotate out guitarist and have Mr. Bruce Hornsby on piano.
Personally, I am doing the pee pee dance due to my excitement.
Scott W. Allen the author of "Aces Back To Back": The History Of The Grateful Dead, corroborated by another credible source. Reported that on November 20th, Phil Lesh was the last member to sign the best document since The Emancipation Proclamation. The guitar players that will rotate out are Warren Haynes, John Kadlecik and Steve Kimock. Barry Sless is also in the conversation. You can expect a host of other ones, it is a celebration.
Stay tuned for more information on this reunion, and let's keep our fingers crossed for more dates in 2015 to continue on this long strange trip.
