Sorry I've been so neglectful about posting in here. Life is crazy busy, but I'm slowly catching up. I did mail order. I'm in Chicago whether or not I get tickets and I hope to run into some of you fine peeps then. There are some other cool things going on in town as well. FitzGeralds has a 3 day concert series going on with a tribute to Lowell George of Little Feat. That's my solid plan B. I promise to try and peek in here more often (if life would slow down just a wee bit).

We'll be there regardless as well. And I'll put together some solid plans for a get-together when we get closer to July. According to Trixie Garcia this was for real and they seriously considered hologram Jerry. Thank God they decided not to do it. What an embarrassment that would have been.There is still a small, but vocal, minority pushing for Hologram Garcia. I thought at least the would have one of his best guitars on a stand in the middle of the stage as a tribute. Maybe they will have something in Chicago.

Glad they didn't have a Holo-Jerry or an empty guitar or anything like that. It wasn't a Jerry Garcia tribute it was a Grateful Dead show. The Jerry tribute thing was at Merryweather. Holo-Pig and Holo-Keith and Holo-Brent and Holo-Vince would need to be represented and that would have been way too many empty keyboards sitting around on stage.
