It's only been ten days. If there really are rejection letters going out, I feel like they almost have to be the folks who didn't get the instructions right.

I'm assuming I'm getting tickets up to I don't. :)

Unfortunately they are getting out there. Friend in Ludlow, Ma got his today. He sent it on time and followed directions correctly. Just a random (bad) luck of the draw.

Well, we're going no matter what. The accommodations are already set up, and we were planning to recreate a Midwestern craft beer tour we did the last time we went to Chi-town. There should be plenty of Dead related things to do (cover bands and shit) and there's just way worse places to spend Independence Day. There's still a chance to beat the scalpers and the secondary markets to TicketBastard, and I will totally settle for a nosebleed. Worse comes to worst, since the whole "don't come unless you have a ticket" thing seems reversed in this economy, I'll still go to the lot. Soldier Field is open air, right? Should be able ro hear quite well from outside.

I haven't decided what I'm doing if we get sgut out of tickets (via all mean) we can cancel hotel up to the day prior to arrival. We have bought airline tixkets but there are no change fees so we could use them for something else. Just hoping good thoughts and if we get even one night we will be there.

We've talked about it. At the moment we're at stalemate over whether or not to have it, and our tie-breaking Dear Leader hasn't been heard from in months. I guess that means "not" for now.

Still alive in New orleans, hearing of more people getting rejected - at least people that I actually know - in south alabama and another in California.
