Ok...I just looked at Ticketmaster and it says the tix go on sale 2/28 at 10:00 am CST. Central Standard Time. 11 am where I live.

Keeping it confusing. But I guess it makes sense since Soldier Field is locating in the Central time zone. Also makes it easier for me to get to my computer on time that morning. But I'll likely be at my computer at 10 am eastern....just in case.

Thanks for posting this, Sue. I had no idea. The number of ticket requests, too, is quite impressive. So much for those who thought they couldn't sell out Soldier Field for three shows.

Full floor G.A. configuration is the worst thing the promoters could have come up with! Everyone ordered for those tix expecting if they got them to end up in the first 30 yds. All good seats. No reason to stand in lines. Now they will subject everyone to hours of waiting in lines and then hours more staking out spots,while those with VIP or cheaper tix can enjoy the lot and roll in for the show with no hassles. Having experienced the "Superbowl of Rock" Soldiers Field promotions during the 70's, I can tell you that baking in the July heat in that stadium was down right intolerable and sometimes dangerous.

We all have about as much chance of getting mail order, or even tickets, as winning the Powerball, so the point is probably moot.

Had a dream last night that I was denied for the 3rd, but accepted for the 4th and 5th. If that happens, I'll take it. My Birthdays the 4th, and my favorite bday to date was turning 19 when the Dead played Rothbury in 2009, I'd love to do it again.

I learned yesterday that everyone I know in Arcata got shot down last week. I sure hope I know by the 27th cause I will buy a package if I don't get tickets MO If I can. If not it is shooting for the mayhem on the 28th. I think after this long we might be good though.
I can see why they wouldn't send them right away. Technically someone could get a limit MO and packages and a limit on line and make a lot of money. IMO that is reprehensible. But that doesn't mean people won't. I'm curious to see what street value would be. I guess we'll find out. Like Hitler said it's Christmas for scalpers

We don't even have the resources to justify spending almost what we sent in MOs for 4 tix on a one night package. I don't have much faith of getting through on the 28th, either. Not with 300,000 people all hammering TM's server all at the same time. :(

The only thing we have going for us is if we somehow do get through, and they haven't informed us yet, we can put TM tix on the ol' plastic. We're guaranteed to get our money back, although I dunno if it's so wrong to take a small profit as compensation for all the anxiety and stress.
