Nice warm-up for the festival! Could make for a nice weekend!
Is "Blue Ridge Bowl" the main stage area? Or was that the small stage in the center of things?
Bet it will feature some of the local beers including Blue Ridge Brewery (their cans are date stamped and say "check my butt to be sure I'm not older than I look" which is good advice always).
Even better if Virginia Distillers can offer their Virginia Highland Whisky, a great single malt. They were one of the water rock sponsors.

One thing that doesn't make sense about "free for lockn ticket holders" is that in April, we won't be holding no tickets....

They could email printable tix to TTB to ticket holders.One thing that doesn't make sense about "free for lockn ticket holders" is that in April, we won't be holding no tickets....

I'm intrigued by this possible new location in the B Bowl franchise whether I get a free anything with anyone or not. Seems a bit remote to have less than a fest, though. Certainly TTB is not for the country fest, so...?
The whole thing's a head scratcher, all right.

That is my thougjt too. I mean I will only be 45 minutes from there but its not exactly a population center

The Banquet Hall seems mighty small. Do you know this for sure? They have had plenty of concerts on the property before Lockn'.

It will draw from Charlottesville (UVA) and about 10 other colleges within a couple hours, plus spring is a popular touring time so people will make a weekend out of it. Seems fitting, then, for a day-time show. All I know is that the hall exists, and that the average daytime high temperature in Nelson County in April is about 60 degrees. That hall is used for high end weddings though and I would be surprised if they would like hosting us riffraff in there.The Banquet Hall seems mighty small. Do you know this for sure? not likely to be at the wedding venue area.
If they were going inside they'd go to the Jefferson or main street amphitheater in C'ville.
They just played in Richmond in a venue that wasn't the typical; can't remember.

I sent a PM to the TTB FaceBook team inquiring about the free to Lockn ticket holders thing. Here is their response.
We jumped the gun on the Lockn announcement but tickets will be onsale for that one next week. Pretty sure the Festival ticket holder deal still stands though. Thanks.
Far from definitive, just sharing. I asked for more details when they have them.
