now they say rain Friday, from a NE system this makes sense, but what doesn't make sense is guessing a week away. Don't look until Tuesday.

I thought the weather was great last year! not hot at all!
You must live on the sun then. My face melted. The heat was the only bummer for me last year. If that forecast holds, we are in great shape.

It was a little toasty at points, but not bad. Plus it was nice not to need to carry a long sleeve around for the walk back to the tent (also for the walk back not to be 2 miles any more). Directly between years 1 and 2 would be perfect

I thought it was great not having to dress in layers or haul around extra clothing! A very nice change from the norm up here in the hills. It was a little toasty at points, but not bad. Plus it was nice not to need to carry a long sleeve around for the walk back to the tent (also for the walk back not to be 2 miles any more). Directly between years 1 and 2 would be perfect

1 - raingear already in the car...I won't be that guy
2 - more concerned about the scattered thunderstorm (thunderstorm = leave the concert area last year)
3 - at least it's not as hot as this weekend...it was Hades Hot yesterday in Richmond, VA

No... not Hades. Please let the good weather be with us. Summer is for heat and sweat and always has been. But sunny in the 80s with some clouds here and there would be good.

Hot today b/c a NE system is building up--which looks like the same pattern for next week.
But as you know, being from around here, they always say "scattered thunderstorms" just to cover their butts. It's preprinted on every weather report.

When the humidity is high you always have a chance of popup rain. Were at a dew point of 72 & it gets dark & then sunny but no rain yet.

To me a thunderstorm rumbling through is no prob, even desireable. The only bummer is hours and hours of socked in rain.
