So looks like general admission RV will be able to get early entry into Lockn on Wednesday

You will likely not have to wait in line as long, as in like, a fraction of the time that most people on Thursday will. That to me is the only real guaranteed perk of early entry, but it is a significant one.So basically, early entry would allow me to pick a better spot to camp, not have as many other people at check in, and just chill all day Thursday till the music starts? Am I missing any other perks? I ask b/c the trade off for me is working Wed, rushing home, load the car, pick up dry ice, and get there around 7PM. I'm not a huge partier though I'll have a few, and suppose would use Thursday to walk around the grounds and see everything I didn't have time for last year.
Am I missing any other major points here? Thanks.
As far as getting a "better" spot to camp, that's certainly possible, but remains to be seen for sure.

I called the customer service #, but they had no idea where the "High Field" was located. We were in line at 4 am Friday last year, and had no issues getting in.
Still a bit ticked off about not getting to see Little Feat. Getting psyched about this years show now!

Actually, if someone can check The Festy site (I'm currently mobile) I think they have a map. They used one to show their location vs Lockn.

But what about us plebs that are in GA car camping? I had a sneaking suspicion this would be an added perk to VIP and SVIP.
They should really come to their senses and allow all members of our wonderful forum early access, private shaded camping spots and free beer!

Just got home from work. Logged on to check out current events. Was absolutely sure I was being fu<ked with just a little. But no. I now have an early admission confirmation. I hope this is a success and will be offered as an option at the beginning of the process next year. Karma well spent.

Pretty sure that is not the final map. I would have been parked in or to the right of family camping which doesn't seem to have a label

So...can we get a pre-party list going?
I'm sure we will be busy setting up, and settling in, but I do like to roam and make new friends once we get settled. If you hear Anders Osborne or TTB cranking from an Airstream, that would be us. DO stop in & say hello. We are very friendly folks, and enjoy good company!
