As far as a pre-party they will have the on-site general store open & some food vendors. As it gets closer we could plan around that but it depends when people get there. I'm planing as close to 4:00 as I can get it, but it's at least a 10 hour drive & who knows what can happen. Either way LOOK OUT LOCK'N HERE I COME!!!!

Kinda sucks that they're limiting it to only certain ticket holders, I can't go on Wednesday anyway but I just want as many people who can to go ahead and get in there so it will actually have an effect on Thursday traffic. I could be wrong, but I don't think this really will have a significant impact on the Thursday line as limited as it is. But hopefully combined with better overall planning it will.

GA RV campers can register for early Wed. entry as well so there should be enough bearers to go around.

Shit, I thought being a GA RV and getting in early meant I had some status and perhaps, while not worthy of shoulder rides, maybe piggy backs from the lowly GA. But to find out that this is all a trick to get bearers in early hurts me bad.

I am hoping the same thing, as I don't qualify for any of the categories that can arrive early. If enough VIPs/RVs take the opportunity to arrive Wednesday, that should allow more check-in personnel to be diverted to the GA entrance on Thursday (fingers crossed) and move things along at a reasonable pace.

Anyone guess as to how strict they will be as far as selection of spots for Wed entry? At least going in w/ the masses, the volunteers weren't really directing you. I'm wondering if going in Wed will force me to camp further back than I'd like. It'd make more sense to park the early arrivals up front so the next day they can just layer the traffic front to back.

They will have these manning the VIP SECURE ZONE INGRESS/EGRESS POINTS. I don't foresee any problems.

Hate to sound snobby, but I'm thinking if they direct me to a spot I don't like, I'll just sleep in the car and move Thur morning. I really need to ice my knees once or twice a day and getting there early isn't so I can hike back and forth during the weekend.

However, I think I read somewhere on this board that Early Entry passes are going to be emailed as print at home .pdf's. Is that true, rumor, or wishful thinking?
