It used to piss me off to have to open Google Earth for anything because I knew I'd be spending 2 or 3 hours looking around. 

I'd say it's about a 15 minute walk from out there - much shorter than '13. The "foothills" are actually quite steep in places, and one of those places is the little ridge you have to go up to get out past car camping to the woods. If you're a regular hill rider you're gonna be fine, but otherwise, unless you're cool with walking them some or all of the way on the way up there, I'd leave 'em at home.

Save the attachment, then open it with Google Earth. The text can't change its resolution since it's from a fixed .png, but you can zoom in and out with it. Once you load it, right click on the file in GEarth and select "Get Info". That should allow you to change how opaque it is to go back and forth between the map and GEarth.

My 3rd year there & 3rd place that SVIP will be. We were where VIP is this year & if they do it the save Car parking will be at the top of the hill. You'll love the walk up & down the hill. At the bottom of the hill is the glamping tents. So if you go right down the hill you will have to watch out for tent wires, they put them close together. You can walk down to the incline which is where the showers & bathroom is, a walk away from the stage. Past the tents is the road with the wooden fence all along. They didn't think until Sunday to take some slates out so we didn't have to crawl thru it. Across the road is the RV parking. Was real nice being on that hill right on the side. Clear view of the stage & the music flowing up the hill was great.

So the RVs are parked closest to the show field?
