I saw the Food Vendor list in the “first timers questions” thread, and I’m so excited about it that I felt it warrants its own thread! These all sound great. Well, except the kombucha places. Not a fan.

As a Lockn’ newbie, I don’t know which of these are returning and which are new, but I’m so excited to see Arancini Bros will be there! They were at Magnaball (the Phish festival) last year. We didn’t buy a lot of vendor food because we mostly made sandwiches at our campsite, but that was one we did try, and it was so yummy. And it can either be a snack, or a light meal for when you're not in the mood for pizza or a burger.

I’d love to hear recs on some of the other food vendors!

there was ONE tent of local beers. Everywhere else was only Sierra Nevada. No cheap yellow refreshing all day drinkers. It was a beer fail.

Her's came from an old lady neighbor of her's that brought it from Russia forever ago. If you want to try it at home maybe we can bring you one, super easy to make and way cheaper than buying it.

Wow, that's a really cool story about how you got your hands on it. And that would be really sweet, Lisa, if it works out!! I have been very interested in making my own, I just haven't made it a priority. I am hoping to have some baked goods I would gladly reciprocate the generous gift.

Pretty sure I had the vegetarian one, too. It was very good. Seems like I had or at least tasted one of the meat pies and it was delish as well. They do a good job on the pastry which is key.

Me too...my original is 2 yrs old. I'm bringing several gallons to share

Tried it for the first time this past weekend at our local music fest. I needed something refreshing in that Sat. heat. It was ginger with possibly lemon. It was pretty good, but I look forward to trying some different kinds.
