Super VIP tickets will not go on sale Tuesday. They are still working out details & will provide an update on Monday June 9th. CID will be doing on site visits to make sure everything is 100% confirmed before they sell the upgrades. I guess they don't want to claim anything like last year & have to pull out.

Super VIP tickets are on hold until June 9th. If you go to the ticket section on the Lockn website & go to VIP tab then scan down you will see the the super VIP & a note on the sale date. You do have to get a normal VIP ticket to upgrade to super VIP & then it is $1200.00 extra to upgrade.As I read and reread the evil email I don't really see anything that says go here instead of vip .

I'm sorry if I caused confusion with my post . What I'm referring to when I made that statement is I don't see any added Benefit to pay 2400 over the vip price . I mean at roo you got meet N greets as well as golf cart service .

It dose seem overpriced. Last year it was $600.00. They have a super VIP tent in the concert field where you get lunch & supper on Friday & Sat. & lower beer prices. They also have special acoustic shows on 3 nights. They have viewing platforms on the field & up front viewing at the stage. You get a better camping space. I also heard they had cart service last year. I was not there last year but this is the info I got. They may give us more info before it goes on sale.

My BIL and I went SVIP last year hoping for it to become an annual tradition. Alas, for $1200 it was not to be.

I hope that's part of the delay. Maybe they saw how many people were turned back by the price & they are rethinking it. I was also thinking from the pics I saw from last year maybe they were going to downsize the amount of tickets they sell for this. Since you did this last year maybe you can give some insight on this.

I did the SVIP last year as well. There was golf cart service last year, I never used but it was offered. CID has stated in an e-mail it will not be offered this year. The viewing area out in the field was the best part for me. Due to some back issues, standing for hours is not really possible. At this point CID has stated that they will not be there either. I was told the increase is due to them reducing the number of tickets being sold. They are changing the up front viewing areas.
I really hope they rethink this price. For me 2500 more is not possible. 600 more per person I could do, not 1200. Lock'n, Please reconsider.

I'm BIL. We had a great time and enjoyed the acoustic sets. They discounted the beer And started giving us water free either during the 1st day or the 2nd. I never found the tents or viewing areas too crowded where reducing number sold would make it better. I don't care about meet and greets. It would be cool but I don't see me becoming good friends with Phil lesh. I bought it last year for the "free top shelf liquor bar" that was offered. I understand the post prohibition laws that va has decided to keep on the books prevented that from happening and decided to not take CID up on the refund offer. The price this year is out of control........I don't see where it would be worth it. I hope they go back to a reasonable price and make their money off of volume instead of margin on a few.

Just got back from WAKA, went VIPx2 at 700 ea. had the full front row at the 2 main act stages, 2 meals a day, free beer and other beverages until almost 2am every night. Camping included with early arrival. Camp sites behind the main stage with no shake downs to enter GA areas. I would pay 1200 (not 1800) if that was included. But then adding 600 wouldn't be a stretch for extra shows. Just saying with this kind of line up they feel like there may only be a few lockins and they need to get it while they can.
Still can't wait!!

What I heard was that Super VIP gets to ride on the shoulders of VIP and they get a laminate that says "I'm better than you."
arlenentim, I believe this is the info you are missing to come up with that value.

If I get SVIP, I'm a really heavy guy. 300lbs. Hope they have a big vip chick to carry me around. I really loved the svip last year. Going to be a hard nut to crack at that cost. I may just say the heck with it and do Peach Fest. Can do VIP for that for less than the upgrade from vip to svip.

What Franklin posted on the SVIP ticket sales is for the ones that did it last year. For the rest of us if they have any left they go on sale the 25th. I say if they have any left because they are cutting the amount in half which is good. I hope they also include the transportation for the Triangle stage to the early Keller Williams shows also. Still on the fence about it, but sounds good if you can afford it.

At risk of stating or overstating the obvious, to me, it comes down to paying for two things: an enhanced experience via the hospitality upgrades and a large premium for extra/intimate sets. The gripe i heard last year from svip-ers was that the bob/phil set was too crowded. clearly this was heard as the price doubled and headcount halved.
Not trying to convince anyone that it equates (thanks Tim, far less words than I'd have used), just how I broke it down. YMMV. I'm not paying up for it, but I'm confident there's enough folks who value those extra sets to the point that they'll sell every spot.
That plus riding on some sweaty, hairy shoulders.

Was seriously considering SVIP...the nightly intimate shows will probably be priceless and there is the cost right there...but me and the hubster decided not to spend the extra $$$$.. VIP will be awesome! Wondering if streams from those SVIP shows will be available?? Haha
