John Mayall @ 90. What a pioneer and solid solid musician.
One of my favorite albums of all time and of his is Jazz Blues Fusion. Shows his versatility and is different from his signature style. I got it in middle school with a bunch of records from the record club, didn't like it, stashed it, pulled it out years later and it became a favorite.
I saw Mayall at a small festival here and got his autograph on my copy of the CD.
