LOCKN 2019 Camping Options

Well that won't work at all. Lots of rigs are already at the limits in a 20 x 50 spot. I don't see it because they had plenty of RV sites left that weren't filled so it's not like they need more space.

And those who slum it in GA car camping will say, "meh. First world problems" as they boil their drinking water and pop their malaria pills.

I'm willing to aerate the clay soil for free, no charge, with my canopy stakes.

Being in a 19-foot Class B RV, I'd love to save a few dollars with a short space, same as the teardrops, and save more space for the big boys. The short spots should have a pricing strategy also that credits the fact that teardrops and shorter class B's can only manage to use a fraction of the electricity that a large RV can use. The advantage for the large RV spots and slightly higher cost is that they can house many people in the bigger RVs, and make killer multi-unit compounds with the extra space.

But I'm not holding my breath for budget smaller RV spots. Not even RV parks can get that right. We generally pay the same camping fee as RVs with 3+ a/c units, washer and drier, and 40+ feet of appliances and lighting. It's something to hope for, anyway.

Good and bad. Good means you can come in whenever and be assured a spot next to friends.


Bad means a clusterfuck of people heading here, there and everywhere. 

I'm breathless with anticipation...

Second question - when will you be announcing who will be playing?
Third question - will dead&co be playing?

Didnt catch the live chat but this pricing makes no sense to me. The poppa bear rv spot is $550 but the community spot that comes with 4 rv passes and could fit 4 poppa bears is $3000 (plus $105 fee!). What am I missing? I guess you could squeeze some cars on the site but that space may be taken up with tow vehicles.

And even the $550 seems like alot. Werent GA rv spots around $299 in years past?
