IF they have a multi-year deal w/ Goose, the farm is gonna be ok.

I think the idea is to get in with Goose on the ground floor, hoping they become the next Phish or at the least SCI, UM or Bisco. I believe Goose can curate a festival and headline 3 nights, they’re on a huge “come up”. With Shapiro locking them in, it’s like SCI was with Horning’s back in the day or how they are now with The Double JJ or Suwannee. Most people wouldn’t think Cheese could headline, sellout & curate TWO festivals each year outside of Colorado… but they do. There’s no reason “FRED” can’t be the next “Forest” or “Hula”.

If Shapiro could lockdown “FRED”, a Billy Strings curated Festival (GOAT STOCK or whatever), along with getting Twiddle to move Tumbledown & Pigeons to move Domefest then Lockn Farm as a venue could work the next 10 years & make money. That’s the venue’s best option going forward. Smaller fest geared to individual fan bases over the summer with pie & the sky being, hoping to get a Phish Festival one year.

Not sure… I know it has something to do with “EL GOOSE”, their fan group. Each band member may have an alternative name, I’ve seen stuff that says “Larry” & “Don” before at their shows too. But I couldn’t tell you for sure, hell it could be the name of Peter’s Mustache, in fact that may be my actual guess.
