I LOVE this festival!  That said, this is looking to my tastes to be a second consecutive year with no stunning headliner for me, but tons of good music, and a number new bands to me.  That's generally a good thing, once I get over the fact that there is no stunning headline for me, or major nostalgic favorite (such as Hot Tuna, which is still a possibility for a later announcement).  I'm picky at first, and easy to please later.  C'mon Floydfest weekend!   Melissa E and LSD will be good to look forward to.  

Kitchen Dwellers are a great add today for Floyd! Sort of a mid-range addition, daytime or late-night, possibly multiple sets! Nice!

All of this is answered in the FAQ but basically the onsite camping that is walking distance from the venue is sold out. Delta Lot is the way to go, you just have to ride a shuttle bus 10 minutes to get to the site.

Is there offiste camping?

Yes! Located approximately 10 minutes from FloydFest proper, Delta Lot is our ‘festival within a festival,’ as they say, with showers and bathroom facilities, potable water for cooking and cleaning, bottled water and ice for sale, a roaring campfire, a food truck and even a camp store. Delta Lot houses Delta Lot Park-and-Camp Pass holders, both Delta Lot powered and unplugged RV campsites, and Volunteer camping and parking. Shuttle service connects Delta Lot patrons with the main festival grounds throughout the five glorious days of the festival. Delta Lot bus shuttles run from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m.+ on Wednesday, from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m.+ Thursday to Sunday, and from 9 a.m. to noon on Monday. But it’s 2:01 a.m., and I wanna go back to camp!? Don’t fret — smaller shuttle vans run between the festival venue and Delta Lot between 2 and 9 a.m. nightly.

Aren't the GA Tent tags (still available) for the outer edges of the main festival ground?  The premium onsite camping areas are sold out, but I believe the GA tent tags get you camp sites onsite.     May need to check carefully but that is my understanding.

Yes GA tent tags are available but I didn't mention them because I know you prefer car camping. Your car is offiste, miles away, and you schlep your gear in on a bus shuttle. These sites are on a slope are are not ideal and would not suit you. Trust me, Delta Lot is the place for you.

so delta is not one of the areas marked "camping" on yours or this map, but is a 10 minute shuttle ride away? 

That's correct, Delta Lot is a couple miles away, to the south (no route to walk, short shuttle ride away except when everyone is moving in at the main fest site, then everything backs up for a while including shuttles.  If you go to google maps, you can actually put in "Floydfest Delta Lot" and it shows you!
