Shapiro could pull that off probably.

Agree. It'll most likely be a show at the Lube as in years past. I hate the venue, but it's 30 minutes away, so I'll adjust my bitching accordingly.

The last few days I’ve heard that it won’t be Jiffy Lube. Somebody said FedEx Field is getting that date, but there’s a couple guys on FB that say it’s a “stone cold lead pipe lock” that it’s gonna be Camden Yards. I know McCartney is playing there, and I doubt that’s a “one off”. The rumors with the most traction I’ve heard are for stadiums… Foxburough, MetLife, Soldier Field, Citizens Bank Stadium , PetCo Park, & Truist Park in Atlanta over the usual Sheds & Amphitheaters. But it’s hard to say. I think it comes out this week or next or else it’s gonna be late summer, if at all.

I’m starting to think “something” came up… if they’re gonna tour early June, the clock’s ticking, if they push it til late summer then no big deal. At this point I think they’ll do 15-20 dates, June on into July, billed as their “Final Summer Tour”, then after that maybe some personnel changes and they cut it back to a few 3 Day runs a year (Halloween, NYE, 4th of July, etc..)

Probably will skip the lube, but there is a brewery in falls church that will has done a party bus to it the last few years.

I was talking to a friend in the business last weekend and he was saying how the field is very crowded now with overlapping and conflicting acts within a market; he said country music is just as bad. "Pent up demand". the question is whether there are enough fans to fill the seats with so many choices. i bet the local acts will feel the pinch, too.
