Floyd Fest 2024 July 24-28

Thanks--couldn't copy their banner. They ar egoing to start announcing acts, too. Said that 70% of ticket holders rolled theirs over so 30% left to sell. And I heard they were targeting a smaller crowd, but that doesn't make much sense.

See you there. Cashortrade is legit so you should be fine. Floydfest can verify the validity of tickets from their facebook page if you want.

My credit card freaked out the first time I tried to use cashortrade to get the floydfest tickets, which is 'ok' I guess? Maybe its a frequent fraud source.

But when I called the credit card company they said they wanted me to video myself with my drivers license and send it to them.

I said 'no thanks', 'but sir your card will remain locked until you send us a video'... 'I have other credit cards, I'm ok with the card being locked if you are'

Luckily my backup credit card didn't have any issue.

I guess I'll be shopping for a new credit card company.

Is that unreasonable?

I'm becoming grumpy (hey it matches my username) with this constantly increasing intrusions into my privacy.

My company's health plan now wants me to send them the first page of my federal tax return so that I can prove that I am married to my wife.

There is a SHITTON more information on that first page in addition to my wifes name, income from other sources being the most problematic.

If my company doesn't trust me enough to not lie about my wifes existence maybe they should fire me.
