Ya, I've been to 8 of them......and had some rough go's and many cancelled sets at both the Lawrence & Mulberry Mtn locations. The upside is this aint my first rodeo and I've got plenty of gear, so I'll be able to roll with whatever is in store for us. Mud boots FTW. waka is absolutely notorious for having the worst possible festival weather you can think of

With this kind of report, for this area and time of year, the "storms" are not likely to be the violent walls you get elsewhere
("white squall" around here) or if they are windy at the start it's short-lived. Then they rain and move on. Very spotty, with rainfall 3 miles
apart and dry in the middle.
On again off again, the rain and raingear.
if you have a real raincoat, like what commercial fishermen wear, you'll stay dry, sweat, and you can sit on it. If you have the
earth-muffin gortex you will eventually get wet.
Except Monday morning may be steady.

So what does humid mean for Virginia, I've always lived on the Gulf Coast, it can't be comparable to that right?

The dew point is in the high 60s or low 70s in Arrington today.

dont know what it's like there, but it can get very thick at times, ESPECIALLY immediately following a quick rain on a very hot day, which is what looks like we might get. its one of those things where as soon as you walk outside, everything is instantly stickySo what does humid mean for Virginia, I've always lived on the Gulf Coast, it can't be comparable to that right?
