TOO - I missed this post. Great idea. I believe I'll have to piddle in the garage this weekend.

Couple of things to note. 

If I had to do it again I would use the lightest wood possible (**not balsa wood**), that thing is heavy. I determined the size based on the storage compartment I had available. If you had more room you can get more height.

The custom stop that I had failed when I put enough force on it. Needs to be redesigned with some gussets on the side and maybe 7 GA SST instead of 11 GA SST.

Thanks. I think I'll check out some resin/composite decking material. I haven't seen anything like that in 1 1/2 or 2 inch material but worth looking for.

I recently got turned on to these Levelers.  The 4" of height they provide might not be enough to get you fully level on the Lockn property, but they will save you a couple of layers of lumber.  Plus they act as chocks. 

Also, cooler melt water and a solar shower bag are a good way to save fresh water and tank space.  We throw the full bag on top of the truck and it warms up pretty quickly.  Works surprisingly well.

No. Fire marshals ride around and look for large tanks like in your photo. First time, a warning to put it away. Then they come back by with the sheriff to see if you brought it back out.

Again, as long as you are using the external LP hookup on your camper and the tanks are attached to your camper you are perfectly fine.

I will be attending my 1st Lockn since my go to festival, Wanee is no more. Its a long drive for me coming from Tampa. I have a Fleetwood Timberlake popup I will be towing. I strongly recommend getting your wheels checked out. My RV tires are small so they spin a lot on a long tow. I just got my wheel bearings greased and repacked. Glad I did it, peace of mind while towing

And carry grease and a grease gun; feel your hubs when you stop to see if they are hot.

Also trailer tires are good for 5 years regardless of the miles. The rubber deteriorates sitting on damp ground/cement and from sun (jack them up; cover them in storage). It's hard to replace a "perfectly good tire" but that's where spares come from. And coming from Florida in August, it's "spares" not "spare"!

There is a date code stamped on tires and since they don't sell quickly, you often buy new tires that are already two years old. You'll have to research that code; I don't know it.

finally, keep them aired up to the rating, usually surprisingly high like 50. They need that for cornering.
