Ok...so tickets are on sale finally! $96 a ticket seems like a good deal. The one size fits all $296 20 x 50 electric RV site seems like less of a good deal. Looks like we'll have PLENTY of room to stretch out with our little teardrop this year. And I don't really need or want electric in October. But there's no other RV option. Grrrr...

Tickets on sale here. Artist announcement on 4/20.
No day tripper pass this year and ticket prices are slightly less than last year, at least at this level. No early bird for me this year in fact I am on the fence about going this year at all. I will do something I normally don't do, wait for the lineup...

WHAT IS THE FESTY?
Since 2010 The Festy has been evolving as an ideal fall weekend experience in the Blue Ridge Mountains including:
- Carefully Curated Lineup of Americana & Bluegrass Artists
- Local Craft Beer & Food
- Environmentally Conscious Practices
- Family-Friendly Environment
ALMOST ETOWN & GREENSKIES AHEAD:
Back by popular demand, Nick Forster will return to The Festy with another installment of “Almost eTown”. In 2017 Forster launched the concept for Almost eTown with 30-min interview and performanced with various artists from The Festy semi-replicating eTown’s nationally-syndicated radio program. Nick Forster will also host the annual Sunday morning gospel hour.
PAYMENT PLAN & SIMPLIFIED TICKETS:
Make sure to check out our new Payment Plan option at Checkout! And in previous years of The Festy, we had two different types of tickets. One type if you were camping and one if you were just coming for the day (“day-tripping”). Now there is just one access Ticket for the venue. Currently we only have Weekend Tickets available. But on Friday, April 20th when we announce the Lineup & Schedule, Single Day tickets will also go on sale. We are no longer offering a teen ticket, but Kids (12 & Under) are FREE!
PARKING & CAMPING:
Day Parking will be available for a fee at the gate for $10 per vehicle, per day. Camping Sites include one (1) vehicle pass. Additional vehicles in the campground will require an additional Camping Site. All Camping is moving from the Highfield to a new location on the Greenfield. New map coming soon. Upgraded Camping (“Glamping”) and Single-Night Camping Options are being considered. Camping Ticket Prices will not increase when festival tickets increase.
OUR VENUE, OUR HOME:
Infinity Downs Farm is a 387-acre property in Arrington, VA, located at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Central Virginia. Home to LOCKN' Festival, The Festy, and a diversity of other music, food, and sporting events, the property features outdoor amphitheaters, open fields, camping grounds, hiking, and over 7 miles of biking trails. We are conveniently located just 35 miles south of Charlottesville and 30 miles north of Lynchburg. For details and directions: www.infinitydowns.com

I'm annoyed, but not really feeling like a battle. I'll probably just pay the money, use as much electricity as I can figure out how to waste, and laugh about how cute my little camper looks in the midst of all the big rigs. Heck...we'll even have enough extra space on our spot to set up a tent for Sneake.If you have questions or suggestions here is the founder/owners email and cell phone number (it's public). Not suggesting a battle. Maybe just a note that says that you are interested in a non-powered rv pass. I'm annoyed, but not really feeling like a battle. They were very clear that all tow-behind campers had to be in RV.some smaller trailers are allowed in car camping; maybe yours will qualify? Especially on a smaller event where they can be more flexible?

What if you attached a handle to the tow hitch and walked it into general camping. If you look at the ticket sales page the grass is blue and the sky is green, not too subtle but I completely missed it...

Not that I needed to say it b/c it should be assumed: pre-tix bought
Had to be the easiest sign-in/payment model I've seen from any fest. It's so obvious I don't know why everyone isn't doing it, but their installment plan is brilliant.
In fact, if every Fest did do that...I'd fool myself into thinking I was somehow saving $ in the long going to twice as many festivals.

I bought ours as well. Worf told me to wait for the line-up. But I couldn't justify spending the extra $60 for that knowledge when we go into everything else blind.

i bought. first time buying festy in advance in spite of going to the last five. always 'waiting on the weather' and then going in the cold rain anyway.
and i had a different experience on their ticketing site. had to try multiple times to get it to go through. always fun after you've entered your cc number.
