Things to be aware of: three stages that overlap. It's physically impossible to see everything you want to see.
And some other items: So you don't camp next to your car? How far away is your car. (Mine serves as a secure locker for whatever I don't want to leave in the tent.)
Are the stages separated enough so that one stage does not drown out a quiet act on the closest stage?
Any other peculiarities?
Thanks.
Not only is camping not right by your car, you'll have to take a wagon ride up the mountain with all of your gear to get to tent-only camping. Your car could be as far as a few miles away. You can rent a locker for the weekend, but they'll totally hijack you on the price of that rental.
Peach is not for the faint of heart. You need to be prepared for some hiking up and down hills. And for Live Nation fees out the wazoo.
For perspective, last year I paid $350 for an on-site RV spot. The location was awesome in terms of proximity. But it was a relatively flat piece of a gravel parking lot with no hookups.
Oh...and the gate search can range from "I walked right in" to "they went through the Lowe's receipts in my wallet." It's a crap shoot.
