My feeling is that half the fun of a festival is the people around you...

I think the difficulty of Peach is a bit overstated. It's definitely a bear, but it's not impossible if you're smart. The key is to plan well. If you do so, and conserve some energy, it's a good fest (but not for all).

Unlike other fests you have a whole shaded pavilion with seating. No need to worry about baking in the sun all day or lugging a chair around, plus you can get a great spot up close and still sit. Also helps with rain given it rains every year at Peach. The Mushroom stage is also within crawling distance of the campground and you can enjoy the water park (on the first two days at least, before the water gets fully wookified) while catching the sets

Bob and I had a great time at Jerry Jam in NH last weekend. We just finished repacking our gear and are ready to head to Peach tomorrow. We probably won’t be getting to the mountain until 4 or so. How about we meet up in front of the merch tent near the pavilion at 4:45/5:00 tomorrow. I believe the Merch tent is half way between the pavilion and the Live For Live Music Stage.
